We call this a dynamic website because each page is customized with data specifically for the user, based upon what their choices. Many websites have content that changes often, and needs to be updated by someone who may not have any experience with HTML. Site administrators can use a simple web interface for keeping things such as a calendar or recent news up to date. These scenarios must be programmed to the specifications of the client.
